An Employee Assistance Program is a confidential service that employers may offer to employees and their family members. The sessions are available to help manage family issues, work / life stressors, relationship issues, depression, anxiety to name a few. We do participate with a number of EAP Programs, please check with your Human Resource Department to see if you have this benefit available.
Depending on your current health insurance provider, it is possible for counseling services to be covered in full or in part. You may want to contact your health insurance to find out if mental health counseling services are covered under your plan. We would recommend asking the following questions to determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan cover outpatient mental health counseling?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is the amount and how much of has been met?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can attend? If so, what is the limit?
- Does my plan provide reimbursement to me if the provider I choose is not in network?
Some of our therapists are in-network for Outpatient Counseling with the insurance companies listed above. If we are not in-network with your insurance we can provide you a detailed receipt to submit to your insurance for reimbursement if you have out of network benefits.
Please feel free to contact our office if you have any additional questions prior to scheduling your first appointment – 386-449-8600.
