Just like other chronic illnesses, depression is not your fault. Our office offers counseling for depression; we know that at times it may seem challenging to find your way back to hope and happiness. We are here to help our clients as they begin to identify past experiences or current situations that may be impacting their overall satisfaction in life. We hope that through counseling, you will start to take time for yourself. This could include finding time to experience the joy of warm sunshine on your face, reconnect with loved ones, and to develop a plan to find peace and meaning in your life.

Our counselors will use a variety of evidence-based therapy techniques in your counseling sessions. These techniques may include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness, to name a few. You will initially begin by developing treatment goals with your counselor. Set small achievable goals that you can work on daily to improve your overall happiness.
