Carrie Oliver, LCSW
Welcome, my name is Carrie Oliver and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (SW11996). My goal is to create a collaborative process with you in order to build rapport and help you find effective tools to create the quality of life that you want. My hope is that through counseling, you will gain a better understanding of yourself, clarity of what you want and need, and more hope for the future. I use various therapy techniques, such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, to help you shift any negative thinking patterns towards a more positive approach to life. In counseling sessions, you will learn effective coping strategies to manage stress and emotions, healthy communication skills, boundary setting, and how to utilize your personal strengths to reach goals. If you have been impacted by trauma you will learn effective skills to manage trauma related symptoms and responses.I have experience working in community mental health and hospice care. I have an array of experience working clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, mood disorders, anger management, and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I provide Individual Counseling, Family Counseling, and Marital Counseling.
My focus is to help you find the strength and confidence to create a life for yourself that feels empowering and fulfilled in the way that you desire. My hope is that through our work together, you will feel more empowered to approach and achieve the goals you choose to focus on. In my practice, I offer both daytime and early evening hours, so that you can choose the best time for you. I offer in-office appointments at the Ormond Beach location and I offer Online Telehealth Counseling through a secure HIPAA compliant program.
