I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Yoga Teacher. My goal is to help you develop the skills you need to overcome life’s challenges. Through self-exploration, mindfulness, and solution-focused sessions you will begin to identify goals to focus on. Clients will often seek out counseling services to reduce anxiety, depression, stress, work pressure, grief and loss, relationship issues, or family stressors.
In sessions, I employ a variety of evidenced-based practices, such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and positive psychology techniques. By practicing these techniques, you will develop an increased self-esteem and improved self awareness. You will learn how to feel more relaxed and restructure negative thought patterns. In sessions, I will help you to set and achieve the goals you have for yourself so you can live a happy and fulfilling life. My specialties include working with clients that are struggling with family issues, relationship concerns, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, working with members of the LGBT community, and women’s issues. In my practice, I offer evening and weekend appointments so that you can find a time that works best for your schedule.
